Welcome back all youse ugly bustards!

And a special warm welcome to the new recruits we poached during the off season for their first season of Uglybustards tipping.

Yes I know Its been a long hard wet preseason but youre all looking in tip top shape for 2012.  Griggsy holds the Uglybustards Cup after a last minute nail-biting win over powerful.  Let's see how his Premiership defence goes this year.

First up, we've got a new website, which is a blog at www.uglybustards.com.  You can subscribe to weekly Uglybustards Updates by entering your email in the "Follow By Email" box on the right.

Second, we have a number of comps again this year, including the new Trivia comp on the footytips.com.au site.

2012 Competitions and prizes are as follows;

• Regular Tipping: First 3 take prize pool at 60%, 30%, 10% in that order. The overall winner will also win a Merchandise Pack from Broo Beer.
• Weekly Jackpots*: Each week, $ allotted from the prize pool for the sole tipper who gets the full card and best margin. 
• Cumulative Margin: First prize will receive an Uglybustards T-shirt.
• Trivia: None of youse  ugly bustards will get anywhere near me, but if by some fluke you do, the prize will be Uglybustards merchandise, to be confirmed. But not even bothering to consider the possibility at this stage.

Spot Prizes:  Passes to The Laugh Garage in Sydney's CBD, corner of Elizabeth and Park Streets.  Maybe some other prizes throughout the year.

To be eligible for these prizes, you must have paid your entry fee of $20 to the Prize Pool by April 30.
